Mohammad Damerji serves as Chief Executive Officer of Basra Multipurpose Terminal. He brings broad experience in port operations, corporate management, commercial development, and organizational restructuring, with a strong focus on governance, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement. Through his role, he supports BMT’s long-term development as a key multipurpose terminal operator at Umm Qasr Port.

Ahmed Gowayed is the Chief Operating Officer of Basra Multipurpose Terminal, with over 25 years of experience across shipping lines and the container terminal industry. He brings strong operational expertise in terminal management, cargo handling, service reliability, and performance improvement. At BMT, he leads the operational execution needed to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused terminal services.

Georges Chahine is the Container & General Cargo Development Director of Basra Multipurpose Terminal, with extensive experience in port operations, container terminal activities, and general cargo development. His practical background covers terminal development, cargo-handling operations, operational planning, and service improvement. His role contributes to BMT’s continued growth as a multipurpose terminal operator at Umm Qasr Port.
